When tradition meets high-tech: For the Model Flying Group Liechtenstein (MFGL), we created a platform that is as dynamic as the sport itself. The new website is not just the club's digital business card, but a living archive and a central point of contact for pilots from all over the world.
The MFGL looks back on over 60 years of history and regularly organizes major international events such as the F3A World Cup. The old structure could no longer keep up with the abundance of current news, competition results, and the extensive archive. The goal was a modern, extremely fast website that works on all devices and can be maintained by the board without technical overhead.
We relied on Kirby CMS to guarantee maximum flexibility with minimal loading times.
Dynamic News & Archive System: Members can easily maintain reports about work days, competitions (e.g., national championships), and events like the St. Nicholas evening with images and texts.
Competition Management: Structured presentation of rankings and announcements for international events.
Performance & Security: Thanks to Kirby's file-based architecture, the site is extremely secure and loads lightning-fast – crucial for users accessing information on mobile directly from the airfield.
Clear Design: Focus on large-scale images of the impressive flight models and intuitive navigation through club life.
With mfgl.li, the club now has a tool that makes the passion of model flying tangible.
Easy Management: The board saves valuable time updating content.
High Reach: The clear structure improves visibility at international competitions.
Community Strengthening: A living digital archive secures the club's history and keeps members and fans updated on all activities.
